SCROTAL MASSES AND SWELLING
Swelling and masses in the scrotum are common, and can be caused by a number of conditions, including:
- Hydrocoele
- Spermatocoele (epididymal cyst)
- Varicocoele
- Inguinal hernia
- Scrotal infections (epididymitis and orchitis)
- Testicular cancer
While most scrotal masses aren’t serious or dangerous, it is important to see your GP or a urologist to investigate any new scrotal masses or swelling.
At Brisbane Urology Clinic, our urologists are experts in the investigation and management of scrotal problems. We perform surgeries to correct scrotal masses, including hydrocoele and epididymal cyst repair and varicocoele repair.
