Vasectomy is a procedure for permanent sterilisation in men. It is the most effective form of male contraception.

Vasectomy involves removal of a small section of the vas deferens on both sides.

While vasectomy reversal is possible, vasectomy should be regarded as a permanent, irreversible procedure.

At Brisbane Urology Clinic, we offer vasectomy in our on site procedure room, as well as in hospital under general anaesthesia.
