PROSTATE CANCER
Prostate cancer is a disease caused by abnormal growth of cells within the prostate. Prostate cancer is common and doesn’t alway require treatment, however, all men with suspected prostate cancer should be assessed by a urologist.
Our urologists use state of the art medical imaging and biopsy techniques in the diagnosis of prostate cancer. We offer a range of treatments for prostate cancer, including minimally invasive robotic prostate surgery, brachytherapy, and surveillance.
Urologists from Brisbane Urology Clinic were involved in the establishment of the Queensland Robotic Centre, Queensland’s first robotic surgery unit at the Greenslopes Private Hospital. Queensland Robotic Centre is now one of Australia’s busiest and most experienced robotic surgical units.
